Those who prefer dark colors and enjoy fine whisky will love our "black" rooms.

Large areas of charred oak wood are reminiscent of the insides of the American oak barrels in which our award-winning "Thurbon" matures. The soft carpeting, fridge, coffee machine and hairdryer, a reading chair, a desk with chair and the bench by the window make you feel right at home.

Bright, with real oak parquet flooring and felt coating on the headboard as well as "apple wallpaper" in the bathroom, these two rooms on the top floor reflect Macardo's fruity Vieilles. From the large gable windows, the view sweeps over the meadows with the high-stem trees on which the fruit for our fruit brandies ripens. Our "slat rooms" take up the geometric elements of the building, interpreted with oak wood and a "mint" wallpaper in the bathroom. Three rooms as cosmopolitan and international as the fine spirits from Macardo. Description

The best place to be is at home - and right after that is the Premium 4****S B&B by Macardo! It has 14 double rooms. Here you will spend the night with every comfort and a fascinating view of the Alpstein and Säntis - from every room. We will sweeten your next morning with a delicious and rich breakfast, composed of regional specialties. You won't feel homesick here, but you're guaranteed to long for Macardo back home!

Of course you can also have dinner with us during the Corona period, although we are actually "only" a Bed & Breakfast. We are happy to serve you a fine take-away menu from restaurants in the area, or if you would like something homemade, you should try a hearty Thurgau Brennmeister tarte flambée with salad or our homemade Macardo whisky fondue. Dinner is served in the breakfast room. Let us know what you prefer when you make your reservation.

On arrival, please check in at the check-in terminal to the left of the main entrance (ID or passport required) and credit card if the room has not yet been paid for. You will receive your room card which gives you access to your room and the Honesty Smokers/Cocktail Lounge. If you also book an underground parking space, your room card will also give you access to the garage.
