Gliding instead of racing: First paddle parade in Thurgau

Fun, community and a common goal
The motto is: fun instead of speed. With a SUP board, kayak or other muscle-powered boat, the focus is on a shared experience on the water without any competition or pressure to perform. Whether alone, with a friend, boyfriend or the whole family, you can paddle and enjoy a safe route with like-minded people.  

Goodies for participants
Participation is free, but places are limited. It is worth registering early. Early birds can secure a practical starter dry bag and take advantage of the shuttle service option. If you don't have your own vehicle, you can hire SUPs or kayaks from LaCanoa at Badi Ermatingen. There are also one-way solutions. Reservations are recommended.
Safety information: Wearing a life jacket and labeling the equipment is mandatory.

Finish with enjoyment and live music at the finish area in Steckborn
An atmospheric finale awaits all paddlers at the finish area in the Badi Steckborn. A festival restaurant with barbecue specialties invites you to linger and enjoy. Musical entertainment will be provided by the band "Back to Blues", who will be playing live music from 14:00 to 17:00 to create a summery atmosphere and a relaxed end to the day.  

Tips on how to get there:

• Public transport: Train to Ermatingen, from there it is a 15-minute walk to the Ermatingen swimming pool.
• Car: Parking spaces in Ermatingen are scarce. We recommend parking in Steckborn (e.g. Feldbach or Bernina-Areal) and traveling from there by public transport or shuttle.
