Romanshorn, October 28, 2025 - The slowUp Lake Constance will continue to take place in the future. Thanks to the combined forces, great commitment of all those involved and new financing approaches, the final accounts for 2025 show a pleasing result. The popular major event has been able to secure its financial basis and can look to the future with confidence.
After an intensive phase of uncertainty, one thing is certain: the comprehensive measures to stabilize the slowUp Lake Constance have been effective. Thanks to financial support from the sponsoring municipalities, income from the newly introduced slowUp vignette and extensive cost-cutting measures, the event was not only successfully held but also concluded with a positive result.
"We are very relieved and grateful for the successful outcome," says Rolf Müller, President of the Lake Constance slowUp organizing committee. "The good result shows what is possible when everyone pulls together - the municipalities, sponsors, helpers, participants and Thurgau Tourism with its great commitment as the office, where everything was coordinated with a great deal of dedication and passion."
The good result makes it possible to build up financial reserves. These create an important basis for future events and give the organizers the necessary planning security. If all implemented measures are continued, a balanced budget can also be expected for next year.
The goal for the future is also clear: the slowUp Lake Constance should continue to be an event for all generations - as a day with plenty of exercise, enjoyment and encounters. The committee would like to use the time until the next event to further develop the existing structures and strengthen the proven concept in the long term.
With this tailwind, everyone involved is optimistic about the next edition of the slowUp Lake Constance on August 30, 2026 and is looking forward to celebrating a festival of movement and joie de vivre together with the population in the future.
