August 18, 2026 – On five fall weekends, the motto is “hop on, hop off, explore”: The “Borderless Fall Hopping” initiative connects the “ Thurgau ” with the German Lake Constance region. With a day pass, you can travel flexibly all day long between Mannenbach, Berlingen, Steckborn, Radolfzell, and the island of Reichenau—and your bike rides for free.
From October 9 to November 8, 2026, the Swiss Untersee and Rhine Shipping Company (URh) will operate four trips daily from Friday through Sunday on the circular route across Lake Untersee. Get off wherever a historic town, a hike along the lakeshore, a bike ride through the autumnal countryside, or a museum visit awaits you. Then simply continue your journey on the next boat.
The day pass is valid for the entire loop and can be used on all “Autumn Hopping” days. This way, you can plan your trip however you like—with time for discoveries on land and delightful moments on board.
Autumn Hopping also offers the perfect setting for groups to enjoy a day together in the fall. Whether it’s a club outing, a team event, or a trip with friends: the group rate applies for groups of ten or more. If you’d like, you can pre-order a three-course meal and enjoy a culinary experience together on board.
