July 9 through August 4, 2026: The See-Burgtheater in Kreuzlingen will once again transform the Lake Constance landscape into an atmospheric theatrical world this year. On the program is “The Legend of Anne Bonny”—the story of a woman who defies the social constraints of her time and experiences freedom for a brief moment. Action, humor, and powerful emotions are all part of the experience.
August 5 through September 5, 2026: The Hagenwil Castle Festival also offers a special atmosphere: Jean-Baptiste Molière’s comedy *The Miser* will be performed in the historic courtyard of the moated castle. This timelessly amusing story about money, greed, and the misconception that wealth brings happiness delights audiences with wit, charm, surprising twists, and lovingly portrayed characters.
