For everyone who loves good food, exciting wines, and outdoor activities: The 2026 Gourmet Hike in Weinfelden was a resounding success! Together, we savored culinary highlights and explored a breathtaking 11-kilometer route through the vineyards of Thurgau—authentic, modern, and full of unforgettable moments of enjoyment.

After the event is before the event: We’re looking back on a fantastic day and are already starting to make preparations for the next one. Details and the date for the 2027 Culinary Hike will be announced in early 2027.

The idea behind Hike & Taste

The Culinary Hike offers a regional experience full of flavor, nature, and authentic discoveries. The idea behind it is simple: We bring people together to experience the diversity of a region up close. The focus is on local hosts who put their heart and soul into their work, as well as winemakers who blaze new trails. A day that combines outdoor activity with culinary highlights—relaxed, open, and completely free of frills.

Five stations

A varied route takes you through diverse landscapes and to five carefully curated culinary stops. At each stop, you’ll find a wide selection of regional delicacies paired with distinctive wines—all served in a simple, self-service style that’s relaxed and authentic.
