In Napoleon's footsteps at the Arenenberg
Napoleon III spent a large part of his youth in Thurgau at Arenenberg Castle. He was highly esteemed and respected in the region. It is therefore not surprising that the canton of Thurgau made him an honorary citizen. His legacy on the picturesque Untersee can be explored at Arenenberg Castle. The Arenenberg offers many other experiences for groups, such as a tour of the picturesque Arenenberg gardens or the vineyards.

Ittingen scavenger hunt
The Ittingen scavenger hunt takes you on a fun, one-hour journey of discovery to various, sometimes hidden places throughout the grounds of Ittingen Charterhouse: from the estate to the courtyard, the gardens, the spring, the ladder to heaven, the museums and the pond. With a little skill, you can discover hidden corners of the former monastery complex that would otherwise remain hidden.

Night watchman tour Bischofszell
Until 1940, the night watchmen in baroque Bischofszell were on the town's payroll. Although they were still used as fire guards, they eventually had to give way to the modern fire department and the town policeman took over the security service. The tradition still lives on in Bischofszell today. From April to October, the night watchmen walk through the streets of the town on the eve of the new moon, accompanied by two watchmen. In addition to the sung call of the hour, stories from old Bischofszell can be heard. The night watchmen and watchmen appreciate being accompanied by guests on their tours.

Wine culture on the Ottenberg
What could be better in autumn than walking through colorful vines in the fresh air and learning more about the seductive grape juice? An excursion to the Weinfelden wine trail on Thurgau's Ottenberg is a pleasure at any time of year. The hiking trail starts in the pretty little Thurgau town of Weinfelden and leads through the vineyards of Weinfelden, Boltshausen and Ottenberg, past idyllic wineries. Around 30 information boards provide interesting facts about viticulture and the region's winegrowers. The winegrowers will be happy to present their wines and invite you to taste them if you book in advance.

Medieval trail at Frauenfeld Castle
The adventure trail for groups involves puzzles, riddles and discoveries. Adventurers go on a journey through time and explore together the exciting era when Thurgau was torn between Swabia and the Swiss Confederation. To round off the tour, the castle's coach house or sun terrace invites you to enjoy a snack or aperitif.

Shipyard tour on Lake Constance
A trip on a Lake Constance boat promises a feeling of freedom and a wonderful view of the Lake Constance landscape. Seeing the large ships out of the water during maintenance is at least as impressive. A guided tour of the Schweizerische Bodensee Schifffahrt shipyard in Romanshorn gives visitors the opportunity to see the white giants up close and look over the shoulders of the workers.
