Immerse yourself in the craft of stone - sculpting course

A course in which interested people and professionals create their own work. Encounter, inspiration, craftsmanship and stimulation to new sensations. The result: a piece of rough stone is shaped into a form that can give pleasure for a long time. The Academy of Classical Sculpture is located in the heart of the Thurgau countryside near Lake Constance. Since it was founded 35 years ago, over 800 students from Switzerland and abroad have attended the courses. The workshops, covered outdoor workplaces and studios, which are situated around the green inner courtyard, create a unique, artistically inspiring atmosphere. The academy offers well-equipped rooms for all disciplines, including a gallery, café & restaurant, library and relaxation room. It is the perfect place for anyone who appreciates encounters and exchange. In its rooms and open spaces, the passion for stone sculpture, modeling and design, drawing and drafting as well as the study of art and literature is pursued in various ways.
