The See-Burgtheater is staging "Honig im Kopf", the stage adaptation of the well-known film, in Kreuzlingen's Seeburgpark Open-Air directly on the shores of Lake Constance.
This summer, the stage of the See-Burgtheater on the shores of Lake Constance will be transformed into a moving, poetic world between remembering and forgetting. With "Honig im Kopf" - based on the film of the same name by Til Schweiger - the Kreuzlingen cult theater shows the changed perception of an Alzheimer's patient in a huge photo album. Sometimes cheerful, sometimes melancholy, the world of the protagonist Amandus and his family is brought to life, giving the disease a touching and profoundly profound space. Storyline: Tilda and her grandpa Amandus have a very close bond. When Amandus, who suffers from Alzheimer's, begins to deteriorate after the death of his wife, his son Niko - Tilda's dad - brings him home. But his illness puts Niko and his wife Sarah to many a tough test. Especially as both are very busy with their work and not everything is going well in their marriage either. Only Tilda manages to treat her grandfather with understanding. When Niko wants to register his father in a home, Tilda whisks Amandus away on an adventurous trip to Venice - the city where he was once so happy...
