"Still Going Strong Tour 2025" The Dubliners are probably the most famous and influential band in Irish folk music. It is not without reason that the Irish are considered the oldest boy band in the world.
"Still Going Strong Tour 2025" The Dubliners are probably the most famous and influential band in Irish folk music. It is not without reason that the Irish are considered the oldest boy band in the world. Their music and performances have inspired generations of Irish bands such as The Pogues, Flogging Molly and Dropkick Murphys. Many traditional Irish songs reinterpreted by The Dubliners are considered the only valid versions today. Legendary hits such as "Whiskey In The Jar", "Dirty Old Town", "Seven Drunken Nights" and "Black Velvet Band" will turn the Kammgarn into a big Irish pub. Séan Cannon (vocals/guitar), a member of the Dubliners since 1982, has performed with almost every folk band in the UK. The incomparable voice of Paul Watchorn (vocals / guitar / banjo) is just made for Irish folk. Gerry O'Connor (violin / banjo) has played with renowned artists such as Mary Black, Moya Brennan, The Waterboys and toured with the famous American blues rock guitarist Joe Bonamassa. Shay Kavanagh (vocals / guitar) has been performing since 2018 as the successor to the sadly deceased Dubliner Eamonn Campbell. [text: zvg]
