ODYSSEUS ON A WINE JOURNEY - a musical odyssey through 20 years of COMEDYexpress Odysseus has messed things up with the gods, is sent on a life-threatening odyssey for years as punishment and finally ends up at the idyllic Burkhart vineyard, beautifully situated above Weinfelden. It is hardly surprising that Zeus & Co. are not far away, as the gods also appreciate the radiant Saphira, the complex Pinot Noir Reserva and the festive Winzer sparkling wine. With charm, playfulness and dazzling comedy, the inclusive ensemble COMEDYexpress delights the audience with its humorous anniversary production. Together with Homer's "ODYSSEE" as a framework story and musical accompaniment by pianist Julian Weisser, a highly attractive mix of newly developed scenes and highlights from past COMEDYexpress plays has been created. The COMEDYexpress is a Thurgau theater ensemble with actors and actresses with disabilities from the Sommeri educational institution. Under the direction of the two Bottighofer theater makers Ambrosia Weisser and Peter Wenk, the ensemble has not only achieved national significance in the course of its more than 20 years of existence, but is now one of the most successful inclusive theater groups in Switzerland. For the last time in season 25, we will once again be serving Treberwurst from the Hermann butcher's shop in Sulgen, accompanied by potato and leek gratin.
