The walking time for the approximately 11 km is about 3.5 hours. Since you can stop and enjoy yourself at five stations along the way, you should plan on spending a total of about 5 to 8 hours. We recommend that those who prefer a more leisurely pace start early, as the stations close at a certain time (see question: How long can I stay at the stations?)
You can manage your own schedule; just be sure to check the stations' opening hours:
1. Tasting Stop: Wirtschaft Stelzenhof AG - open until 3:00 PM
2. Tasting Stop: Restaurant Thurberg – open until 4:00 p.m.
3. Tasting Stop: Markus Held Winery – open until 5:30 p.m.

To avoid long waiting times at the stations and ensure you can enjoy your meal in a relaxed atmosphere, we spread the starts across different time slots. This keeps the atmosphere friendly and cozy for everyone.
At each station, we offer a simple vegetarian option. Unfortunately, we are currently unable to offer vegan options.
Of course! Fresh tap water and two non-alcoholic specialties from the Möhl cider factory are available for you at each station. Additional beverages can be purchased on site if needed.
We recommend traveling by public transport. Weinfelden train station has excellent connections and is only a few minutes' walk from check-in.
Yes, the culinary hike generally takes place regardless of the weather. In the event of extreme weather warnings, we will notify all participants in a timely manner via our website and by email. Should we, as the organizers, have to cancel the event, you will, of course, receive a full refund of the ticket price.
We recommend comfortable hiking boots or sturdy sneakers, weather-appropriate clothing, and sunscreen. You’ll receive your personal wine glass and the booklet—which also serves as your ticket for tastings at the stops—directly from us at check-in.
Four-legged friends are welcome on a leash and in the outdoor areas of the stations. However, please bear in mind that it can get very busy at the stops and your dog should be comfortable in crowds.
Unfortunately, refunds are not possible. However, as our tickets are not personalized, you can easily transfer your seat to friends or family.
Since our event focuses on wine tasting, among other things, the hike is specifically designed for adults (participants must be 16 or older). Please note that for this reason, we do not offer tickets for children. We value responsible enjoyment in a relaxed atmosphere and ask for your understanding that the supporting program is not tailored to younger guests. ID may be requested at check-in to verify age.
