Kriessern quarry pond

The quarry pond is one of the most beautiful natural swimming spots in eastern Switzerland.

It is located in the middle of a beautiful recreational area. Thanks to groundwater inflow and surface water drainage into the nearby Zapfenbach stream, the lake is a natural drinking water reservoir. Guests have access to modern facilities. The buildings are equipped with toilets, hot showers, changing rooms, a kiosk, and a kitchen. In and around the lake, guests of all ages will find a wide range of games and sports facilities, including a diving tower, diving boards, 2 floats, a beach volleyball court, table tennis, children's swings, slides, bocce court, etc. A beautiful walking path around the lake rounds off the facilities.
