Barfuss Brewery: Bar and Event Venue

The Barfuss Brewery in Bürglen is a charming brewery that operates as a bar on Thursday and Friday evenings. This historic event venue can be rented throughout the week for private parties, corporate events, and seminars.

The Barfuss Brewery, winner of the Thurgau Tourism Award, combines regional culinary delights with a warm, friendly atmosphere. The old control center on the Bürgler Canal provides a unique setting for cozy evenings and special events.

On Thursdays and Fridays, the bar is open to everyone from 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. It offers house-brewed beers, other regional drinks, and small seasonal dishes. Concerts, pub quizzes, and readings provide a variety of entertainment.

This historic event venue is available for rent all week long for private parties, corporate events, and seminars for up to 90 people. Guided tours, tastings, and corporate dinners offer a glimpse into the world of beer.

The beers are available in the online store and at select specialty shops. Orders of 24 or more beers can be customized with your own label—as a personal gift or a corporate gift.

The name is a nod to the first brewing experiments on Barfussweg in Wuppenau. That's where it all began.
