Staubern Mountain Railway
Since spring 2018, the new Staubern railway has been taking passengers from Frümsen up to Staubern. Enjoy unique views from the ridge. The Staubern mountain restaurant is on hand to cater for your physical well-being.
The Staubernbahn is the first mountain railway in the world to be operated independently of external energy sources. It is energy-neutral and environmentally neutral. The railway also covers the greatest altitude difference in a single section. The new construction project is family-financed. As a further contribution to the conscious use of raw materials and the environment, charging stations for electric vehicles are also being installed at the valley station.
