Ermatingen History Trail

The History Trail in Ermatingen offers a digital experience and learning path through the history of the town. On the approximately 4.5-kilometer route, which can be completed in about 1 hour and 30 minutes, participants are guided to 35 different historical points with the help of a smartphone. The trail is accompanied by the character "Professor Erfmuotinger," who guides visitors through the various stations and conveys historical background information in an entertaining way. The tour is interactive and combines knowledge transfer with playful elements and puzzles that promote understanding of the local past. Ermatingen is one of the oldest settlements on Lake Constance and looks back on an eventful history, which the trail brings to life in a vivid way.
