The Mühle restaurant in Ittingen Charterhouse with its mill wheel, which is over a hundred years old, is impressive. In addition, one of the most beautiful garden restaurants in Eastern Switzerland invites you to enjoy the magnificent gardens with over 1000 rose bushes and a labyrinth to stroll through.
The products from the estate's own farm are known far beyond the region. The cultivation is sustainable, environmentally friendly and animal-friendly. Ten different grape varieties are cultivated in the vineyards and the milk is processed directly on site into cheese specialties. Self-sufficiency was a matter of course for the Carthusian monks. Today, guests are spoiled with culinary delights, whether in the restaurant or in the monastery store, where over 200 home-grown products are on display. The creative 0-kilometer dishes are particularly recommended.
