Restaurant Stählibuck
The Stählibuck excursion restaurant on the high plateau above Frauenfeld is open daily. With views over fields, forests and grazing cows, it's easy to leave everyday life behind.
Everything on the menu is prepared fresh and à la minute. Head chef Thomas Frei and his team attach great importance to quality and products from the region. The Restaurant Stählibuck is known for its roasted dishes and changing specialties throughout the year, such as game, fondue and pumpkin weeks.
Younger guests are very welcome. The children's menu offers all the classics: Globi macaroni, Peter Hörnli and Papa Moll schnitzel with chips. As the parents usually sit longer than the children, there is a small coloring and play corner. In the garden there is a playground with a climbing tower, swings and a slide. The restaurant also has a few animals that little animal lovers can always get excited about: three pigs, seven goats and two alpacas.
Excursion tip:
The Stählibuck tower of the same name can be reached on foot in around 15 minutes. From the 27-metre-high tower, you have a wonderful panoramic view as far as the Alps.
