Wine trail Weinfelden
The route of the wine trail leads from Weinfelden railroad station via Ottoberg and Boltshausen back to Weinfelden.
The route is around nine kilometers long and takes around three hours to complete. It leads along the vineyards on the southern slopes of the Ottenberg and offers sweeping views of the Thur Valley. Information boards provide interesting facts about winegrowing and offer new insights even for seasoned wine connoisseurs. Unusual rest stops invite you to take a break: the art installations along the route were created especially for the wine trail. The enjoyment of wine itself is not neglected either. At the Weinfelden indoor swimming pool, a wine trail backpack with provisions, a glass, and a code for the wine safe is available. Those who prefer to travel in company can organize a guided tour with individually tailored tastings.
