Together with the climate protection organization "myclimate," we are contributing to climate protection and sustainable development—both here in the Thurgau region and worldwide.

"Cause We Care"
Holidays in Thurgau also Thurgau greenhouse gases that harm the climate. When you book an offer with us, a small contribution of 1.2% of the booking value is automatically used for sustainability and climate protection.
This contribution to "Cause We Care" has a double effect:

1. We support an international climate protection project by myclimate.
2. We invest in local sustainability projects in Thurgau.

3. Thurgau doubles this amount.

International climate protection project myclimate
Clean drinking water for schools in Uganda
The main objective of this climate protection program is to supply institutions such as schools and health centers in Uganda with new technologies for purifying drinking water. The resulting reduction in the consumption of non-renewable firewood and charcoal reduces CO₂ emissions and at the same time has a positive impact on the living conditions and health of thousands of people.

Local commitment
Around the Bodensee CleanUp
Through our CleanUp commitment, we are helping to ensure that you will continue to find clean shores, an intact Lake Constance, and unforgettable nature experiences in the future. Funds from the "Cause We Care" fund are specifically allocated to the "Around Lake Constance CleanUp" and support environmental education work as well as the organization and implementation of CleanUp campaigns.
Noemi Solombrino is personally committed to ongoing environmental education as part of the project and has organized around 400 guided CleanUps since 2016. Almost 10,000 participants have taken part, collecting nearly 95,000 liters of waste along the shores of Lake Constance.

Thurgau Tourism lends a hand
Thurgau Tourism not only supports the "Around Lake Constance CleanUp" financially, but is also actively involved on site. In 2024 and 2025, our team pitched in at Romanshorn Lake Park and collected trash along the shore.
With this commitment, we are sending a clear message: treating nature and the landscape responsibly is a central component of sustainable tourism in Thurgau for us.
