morning
You start the fourth stage of the Family Route along Lake Constance right at the Arbon train station. The trail takes you past standard trees, apple-themed trails, and fascinating museums until you reach Kreuzlingen after about two hours.
Lunch
The bike path takes you through Kreuzlingen, right past the Bodensee-Arena restaurant. Treat yourself to a well-deserved break here and indulge in some local delicacies.
afternoon
After a leisurely lunch, the bike tour continues along the Untersee. Alternatively, you can combine the route with a boat trip on the Untersee and the Rhine. Tickets are available directly on board—this way, you stay flexible and can hop on and off as you please along the way.
The trip to Paradies runs directly along Lake Constance and the Rhine and takes about 2 hours and 20 minutes—with magnificent views from the water.
Break
Along the route, you’ll find plenty of picnic areas and restaurants with lovely lakefront terraces. Our tip right along the bike path: stop by Pipo’s Bar—the perfect spot for a quick break with a cold drink.
Accommodation

morning
After a hearty breakfast, you’ll start your day and continue on toward the Seebach Valley. The roughly 17-kilometer route takes you through Basadingen and Schlattingen to Stammheim.

Along the way, short stops at local wineries or at lookout points with views over the vineyards invite you to linger. The route ends in the idyllic lake landscape around Hüttwilersee, Nussbaumersee, and Hasensee.
Lunch
The perfect spot for a break is the beach at Lake Hüttwil. Surrounded by nature, you can enjoy a relaxing lunch break here. Delicious snacks and cold drinks are available to keep you going.
afternoon
The afternoon is all about nature. The lake landscape around Lake Hüttwil, Lake Nussbaumer, and Lake Hasen offers a unique setting for walking, birdwatching, and simply enjoying the scenery. Don’t forget your swimsuit: swimming is permitted in the area around the beach at Lake Hüttwil.
Accommodation
After a bike ride of about twenty minutes, you’ll reach the Ittingen Charterhouse. Within its historic walls, stylish, modern hotel rooms invite you to enjoy a relaxing stay.

A dinner at Restaurant Mühle Kartause Ittingen leaves nothing to be desired. The kitchen team prepares around 200 ingredients that are grown and produced right on the grounds of Kartause Ittingen.

morning
On the last day of your tour, you’ll experience history with the wind at your back. In the region around Frauenfeld, you’ll cycle along a roughly 50-kilometer route past eight castles, fortresses, and ruins.

Along the way, you’ll delve into the stories behind these historic walls. The route is designed as a loop and takes about three and a half hours.
Lunch
Along the Castle Tour, you’ll pass cozy restaurants and inviting inns. For a delightful break, we recommend the “Schmitte” restaurant at the Greuterhof in Islikon. The delicious lunch menus offer something for every taste—perfect for recharging your batteries before continuing on your journey.
