Refreshment in the Thur
A magical natural swimming area awaits you right by the old Thurbrücke bridge in Bischofszell. Ideal for a welcome dip. Depending on the water level, the depths range from shallow, child-friendly splashing spots to deep places for a refreshing dip. The stony riverbank invites you to make yourself comfortable with a picnic and enjoy nature to the full.
Cooling off in Untersee
Right on the glistening shores of the picturesque Untersee lake in Mannenbach is a public bathing area with a cozy barbecue area. A great place for families and nature lovers! While the children run around on the beach and in the playground, you can relax and unwind.
On the road in the Seebachtal valley
Peacefully situated in the Seebachtal nature reserve is Lake Hüttwil with a beautiful pebble beach, a beach volleyball court, a barbecue area and a raft. Right next to it is Lake Nussbaum with its idyllic sunbathing lawns and bathing areas. Both lakes are perfect for pure relaxation in a laid-back atmosphere. The mostly free access to the lakes is also recommended outside the bathing season.
Bichelsee natural pond
The Bichelsee lido in Hinterthurgau is an insider tip among nature lovers. Nestled in the gently rolling hills, Bichelsee is lined with pond lilies and invites you to take a dip in the water. There is a safe paddling pool and a playground for the little ones.
Hauptwil pond
The natural swimming pool in the Hauptwiler Weiher, nestled in a green and hilly landscape, offers a spacious sunbathing lawn, a non-swimmers' area, changing rooms and toilets. Access to the open-air swimming pool is practically via a coin-operated machine. Swimming is at your own risk as there is no pool supervision.
Güttingen bathing area
The bathing area in the small Lake Constance village of Güttingen is in a truly idyllic location: the tree-covered bay is adjoined by a small, fine sunbathing lawn. The partially shaded shore area offers two barbecue areas with wood, changing rooms, toilets and a large playground for children.
