You'll find more ideas for unique accommodations, delightful restaurants, and unforgettable experiences below.

morning
The morning begins in the heart of Mostindien at the apple farm in Steinebrunn. Here, you’ll gain insight into how apples, fruits, and berries are processed and transformed into fine regional specialties. In the farm store, you’ll discover dried fruits, baked goods, and other delicacies, immersing yourself in the delightful world of the Kauderer family.
Lunch
For lunch, we’ll head to the historic Hagenwil moated castle. In the castle’s charming rooms, you’ll enjoy fresh cuisine made with high-quality ingredients sourced from sustainable and animal-friendly farms. Host Andi Angehrn and his team combine Thurgau hospitality with exquisite culinary creations, turning your lunch break into a truly special culinary experience.
afternoon
In the afternoon, relaxation by Lake Constance is on the agenda. At the Seemöwe Wellness Hotel in Güttingen, you can unwind in the sauna, the infrared sauna, or the hot tub, and take a break in the relaxation room in between. If you’d like to treat yourself to something extra, you can round out your stay with a massage or a beauty treatment.
Dinner and Lodging
In the evening, you’ll enjoy a delicious dinner at the Seemöwe featuring seasonal and regional ingredients. Afterward, you’ll wind down the day in complete relaxation and spend the night right at the wellness hotel in Güttingen—just a few steps from Lake Constance.

After a great start to the day in Güttingen, your journey of discovery continues at the Bärenmost organic cider farm in Opfershofen. On a guided tour of this family-run farm, you’ll get an up-close look at organic apple cultivation, processing, and marketing. Taste five single-variety organic apple juices and discover what goes into making them.

For lunch, head to downtown Weinfelden. At Restaurant Gambrinus, you can enjoy Italian specialties in a cozy atmosphere—from homemade pasta to delicious meat and fish dishes. The cuisine, which has been awarded 15 Gault-Millau points, makes for a delightful stop.
afternoon
In the afternoon, you’ll step back in time at the Ittingen Charterhouse. The Ittingen Museum tells the story of the Carthusian monks’ lives, from quiet monastic cells and magnificent halls to the impressive Rococo church. The gardens surrounding the former monastery complex also invite you to discover the history of this special place, step by step.
Accommodation
To round out the day, you’ll spend the night in the unique atmosphere of the Ittingen Charterhouse. The stylish, modern rooms are nestled within the historic monastery grounds, creating a peaceful retreat amid vineyards, fruit trees, and the Thur River landscape. Here, you can wind down at the end of the day and enjoy the soothing tranquility of this historic place.
Dinner
A dinner at Restaurant Mühle Kartause Ittingen leaves nothing to be desired. The kitchen team prepares around 200 ingredients that are grown and produced right on the grounds of Kartause Ittingen.

The perfect combination for an enjoyable evening in Thurgau.
morning
The third day of your stay in Thurgau with a regional breakfast on site, followed by the “Art and Wine” loop trail on Iselisberg. The approximately 7-kilometer loop trail takes you through the vineyards and past 24 sculptures. Equipped with a wine backpack, you’ll combine art, enjoyment, and panoramic views in a unique way—with vistas stretching all the way to the Alps. Along the way, various wineries and restaurants invite you to stop and relax.
Lunch
At lunchtime, the bistro at the Lenz Organic Winery invites you to enjoy a delightful break. In a relaxed atmosphere, you’ll find light, seasonal dishes such as soups, salads, and ciabatta—all organic whenever possible and made with locally sourced ingredients. Pair your meal with a wine, sparkling wine, or non-alcoholic beverage from our own winery. It’s a delightful way to round off an eventful day at the Thurgau.
