What you should bear in mind when winter bathing

Ice and winter baths are said to strengthen the immune system and thus protect against infections. Valuable substances such as adrenaline, endorphins and anti-inflammatory corticoids are released by the cold bath. And this is how it works: Take a companion with you. Get into the icy water well warmed up, for example with warm clothing or exercise. A few minutes of winter bathing: brrrrrrrr! Ask the accompanying person to take a photo. Climb out of the water refreshed, revitalized and happy. Warm up well again - and you're done. Please note: people with health problems should avoid winter bathing.
