The routes take you to the water, through peaceful landscapes, and to special places in Thurgau.

The route between Kreuzlingen and Romanshorn along the shores of Lake Constance truly evokes that vacation feeling. The route offers breathtaking views—a pure experience of nature. Along the way, you can enjoy the ever-changing lakeside landscape, which lines the lake with wild plants, trees, and shrubs, only to surprise you a little later with barren stretches of beach and secluded piers. The path also passes numerous beaches and romantic rest stops.
This route combines an easy path with a special destination. The trail from Nussbaumen to the Ittingen Charterhouse is flat and easy to navigate. The surroundings are quiet and uncluttered. You can explore safely and enjoy the natural scenery along the way.
Once you arrive at the Charterhouse, you’ll find accessible paths, open spaces, and plenty of places to relax.
Starting with a gentle climb over rolling hills and through fields, this route then takes you through the idyllic nature reserve featuring the Bommerweihern ponds. It is home to a variety of waterfowl and amphibians. A magnificent view of the Lake Constance region provides the perfect finale to the hike.
The loop trail in Romanshorn takes you through various sections—from the harbor to green paths along the lake. The trail is well-maintained and has no significant inclines. You can move about freely and customize the route to suit your preferences. The mix of water, open spaces, and quiet paths makes for a varied and pleasant outing.
On this section of the Thurweg, the route leads from Weinfelden along the Thur through emerald-green forests, tranquil river landscapes, and idyllic natural surroundings. Time and again, beautiful views open up onto the river that gave the canton of Thurgau its name. In the spring, vast fields of wild garlic transform the forest floor into a fragrant sea of flowers. Open meadows, fruit trees, and small farms create a varied landscape along the way. The destination in Kradolf invites you to relax and wind down at the end of the hike.
This scenic hike leads from Goldach through orchards to the shores of Lake Constance. Along the way, hikers will enjoy a mix of idyllic countryside, sweeping views, and the relaxed atmosphere of the lakeside promenade. In Rorschach, hikers can explore the historic Kornhaus, the Würth Haus Rorschach, and take in a stunning panoramic view of the lake. An enjoyable tour that perfectly combines nature, culture, and the lake experience.
This scenic loop trail connects the historic old town of Stein am Rhein with the idyllic Rhine landscape. Along the banks of the Rhine, you’ll enjoy beautiful views of the river, Hohenklingen Castle, and the striking Rhine Bridge. Quiet stretches along the riverbank and well-maintained rest areas invite you to linger along the way. The loop trail ends back in the medieval old town of Stein am Rhein.
