The following is a complete five-day plan for your vacation in Switzerland.

Ready, steady, go!

The five-day cycling vacation starts in Rorschach on Lake Constance. There you will collect your reserved bikes and set off in the direction of Romanshorn. Along the route, you will visit the "Momö", the only Swiss cidery and distillery museum in Arbon. The interactive modern exhibition shows the journey of the apple from the tree to the bottle. The award-winning museum delights children and adults alike.

Boy's dreams in car construction

In Romanshorn, the autobau world of experience makes all boys' and dads' hearts beat faster: world-famous road sports cars, iconic classics, high-tech supercars and professional racing cars can be admired here - without barriers and at close range. Over 150 vehicles are on display, which also impress the girls. Overnight accommodation is provided on the first day at the Hotel Inseli, which is located right next to Romanshorn harbor in a beautiful park area.

Fun, games & lake

On the second day, lots of fun and games await the families. The journey continues along the shores of Lake Constance to Kreuzlingen. You will pass dreamy bathing spots, secluded outdoor pools and barbecue areas. Finally, in Kreuzlingen, the Seeburgpark awaits families. In the largest public nature adventure park on Lake Constance, little whirlwinds can let off steam on an extensive playground, at mini golf or in the animal park. Overnight accommodation is available in the Bodensee-Arena, next to the harbor on the lake.

Riviera on the Untersee

Just a stone's throw from the Bodensee-Arena is the Sealife Konstanz, where magical underwater worlds can be admired. Another family attraction in Kreuzlingen that is suitable for bad weather is the Lake Constance Planetarium and Observatory. Distant galaxies and beautiful family films on a 360° screen whisk you away to strange worlds. The tour continues to Steckborn. The room on the third day of the vacation is reserved at the See und Park Hotel Feldbach. The historic building is located in a beautiful park right on the lake.

Treasure hunt in Diessenhofen

On the fourth day, you cycle from Steckborn to Diessenhofen. Here you accompany Detective Badger on his treasure hunt through the little town, where you have to solve a puzzle at various posts. At the end of the trail, a treasure chest awaits, which can be opened with the code you have worked out along the way. There are plenty of casual fire pits along the Detective Badger Trail in Diessenhofen where you can take a breather. The next stop for the night is the Hotel Kronenhof in Schaffhausen.

No R(h)einfall at the end

The last day is all about the Rhine Falls near Schaffhausen. Take a bike ride to the largest waterfall in Europe. In Neuhausen am Rheinfall, it is worth visiting the Smilestones, a miniature world of numerous Swiss sights. In the afternoon, the rental bikes are handed in at the Rent a Bike station in Schaffhausen. The Thurbo regional train takes you along the lake back to Rorschach.
